How does your character feel about being in this group? Jack's feelings towards the pack in general are mixed. He likes being a member of the pack and especially likes being a pack enforcer but has some difficulties with lower members and a couple of pack policies.
Abilities and Strengths: Jack's abilities include the following: Can transform into a wolf, is stronger than a human, increased healing ability. Enhanced senses. Experience with weapons such as guns, rifles, and knives. As for his strengths, Jack is a resourceful man whose experience with the underside of life has made him prepared and capable of handling most stressful situations. He is street-wise and has an excellent poker face, hiding his emotions easily in tense situations.
Weaknesses: Jack is stubborn when it comes to his plans and ideas. He also rarely trusts people and gives off the air of being dis-trustful. While hiding his emotions is good for situations that call for it, it can also be a weakness for Jack, distancing him from his friends and other pack members who may be put off by his cool attitude. Jack Gibss also has the weaknesses that come with being a werewolf such as being allergic to silver and controlled by the phases of the moon.
Personality
General description: On first impressions Jack would seem to be fairly serious and stone-faced but quickly others will learn that Jack has a devil may care attitude and a wicked sense of humor. The serious side just comes from his profession as bodyguard/muscle for hire, a job that Jack loves as it feeds his need for action, adventure, and adrenaline. He is a daredevil who enjoys thrills and in his leisure time enjoys surfing, sky-diving, and rock-climbing. When it comes to physical adventure, there is nothing Jack won't try once. It's the matters of the heart that cause Jack to be more cowardly. While Jack will be loyal and honest to his friends, he rarely shows his true emotions and hides behind either his serious nature or his sense of humor, making serious moments into jokes in order to deal with them. Because of this, he may seem flippant and immature to others. At heart he tries to be a decent person and live by a moral code but in his profession this code is often tested, causing Jack to do things he is not proud of, things that he holds deep within.

Brief History: Jack was born a human and has lived most of his life as human in United States as an army brat as his family traveled around, following the career of his father Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Gibbs. He is a middle child and has an older sister and a younger brother and throughout his life was seen as an average, active young man who was heading for a career in the military, just like his father. This all changed when Jack was nineteen years old and went on a white water rafting trip in Arkansas with two high school friends. On the second night of their trip, during a terrible lighting storm, Jack and his friends were attacked by a small pack of werewolves. He managed to stay alive and fight off the wolves until help could come but his friends were not so lucky.
It was soon after the attack, which had been written off as a pack of rabid wolves, that Jack began to notice some changes in his body and within a month, he went through a transformation, becoming a werewolf for the first. Of course, none of his family believed Jack's tale of becoming a wolf and hunting in the nearby park so he was brought to the local mental hospital to be examined. Luckily for him, Jack met Ambrose, an orderly who worked at the hospital and who was also a werewolf. It was Ambrose who explained what was happening to the young man and who explained to Jack how his life had changed. For the next two years, Jack stayed close to Ambrose by moving out of his parent's house and into an apartment nearby and he soon learned of another side of Ambrose, who turned out to be a pack enforcer and was a member of the pack that attacked Jack. Furious, Jack turned on his mentor and killed him in cold blood.
This made him an enemy of Ambrose's pack and made Jack realize how dangerous he was to his family now so Jack packed up and hit the road. For two more years Jack traveled around, gaining experience as a thug and professional bodyguard before he made his way to San Francisco. There he met Connor Murphy who became friends with and who eventually let him into the Lusus Pack. Jack made a few friends and enemies within the pack as he worked his way up to becoming a pack enforcer. After three years of living in San Francisco and working, Jack has begun to finally feel settled.
